Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sugar for dusting

Instructions

Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Crescent Dough:

  • Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a flat surface. Separate the dough into individual triangles.

Add Chocolate:

  • Place a few chocolate chips on the wider end of each dough triangle. Roll the dough tightly, starting from the wide end, to form small croissant-like shapes.

Brush with Butter:

  • Place the rolled dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter.

Bake:

  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown and flaky.

Finish and Serve:

  • Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven. Let them cool slightly before sprinkling with sugar. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: The dough can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 2 hours before baking.

  • Serving Tip: Serve these cookies with a hot cup of coffee or tea for the perfect treat.
  • Storage: Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
