  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

Cream Butter and Cheese:

  • In a large bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add sugars and beat until light and fluffy.

Add Wet Ingredients:

Mix Dry Ingredients:

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Add Chocolate Chips:

  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips evenly.

Chill (Optional):

  • Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.

Bake:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and tops look slightly soft. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
