Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Add-ins:

  • ¾ cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Prepare Pan:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.

Mix Wet Ingredients:

  • In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Combine Dry Ingredients:

  • In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to banana mixture and mix until just combined.

Add Chocolate Chips:

  • Fold in chocolate chips.

Bake Cake:

  • Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Serve:

  • Cool completely, slice, and serve as a snack or dessert.
