This Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole is a comforting and easy-to-make dish featuring layers of chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese, all baked in a creamy sauce. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion.
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
8 oz deli ham, sliced
8 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons melted butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked and shredded chicken with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Layer the shredded chicken evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Layer the sliced ham evenly over the chicken.
Layer the sliced Swiss cheese evenly over the ham.
In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and Dijon mustard until well combined. Pour this mixture evenly over the layers in the baking dish.
In another bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs with the melted butter. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
