Ingredients
  

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Prepare Wet Ingredients:

  • In a large bowl, beat together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.

Combine and Add Chocolate Chips:

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Scoop and Bake:

  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers look set.

Cool:

  • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes
