Ingredients
  

  • 2 (15 ounce) cans cream-style corn
  • 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a Mexican blend)
  • Optional topping: ¼ cup corn chips, crushed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cream-style corn, drained whole kernel corn, softened cream cheese, melted butter, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  • Add cheese: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Pour into baking dish: Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Add topping (optional): Sprinkle the crushed corn chips over the top of the casserole, if desired.
  • Bake: Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and lightly golden brown.
  • Cool and serve: Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Corn: You can use fresh, frozen, or canned corn for this recipe. If using frozen corn, thaw it completely before using.
