These Cheesy Beef Burritos with Fries are a hearty and satisfying meal. Loaded with seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, and crispy fries, they’re perfect for weeknight dinners or game-day cravings.
Bake or air-fry the frozen French fries according to package directions until golden and crispy. Set aside.
Prepare the Beef Filling:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped onion until soft. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add water and simmer for 3–5 minutes.
Assemble the Burritos:
Warm the tortillas slightly. Spoon beef mixture onto each tortilla. Top with shredded cheese and a generous handful of crispy fries. Add sour cream or salsa if desired.
Wrap and Heat:
Roll the tortillas into burritos, folding in the sides. Toast on a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted inside.
Serve:
Slice in half and serve warm with extra fries, guacamole, or dipping sauces on the side.
Notes
Variations: Swap in grilled chicken or black beans for a lighter option.
Make-Ahead Tip: Cook the beef filling in advance and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Serving Idea: Turn them into a burrito bowl with lettuce, corn, and avocado instead of tortillas!
