Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare Oven

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.

Cook Pasta

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook Beef

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook ground beef until browned.

Add Aromatics

  • Add onion and garlic. Cook until softened and fragrant.

Prepare Sauce

  • Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Combine Pasta and Sauce

  • Combine cooked pasta with beef sauce mixture.

Assemble Casserole

  • Transfer mixture to baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Bake Casserole

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
