CHEESEBURGERS IN FOIL WITH VEGGIES AND POTATOES

These foil-packed cheeseburgers with veggies and potatoes are an easy, flavorful meal. Perfect for camping or weeknight dinners, each packet cooks juicy burgers alongside tender potatoes and vibrant vegetables, all infused with savory seasoning.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 hamburger patties beef, turkey, or plant-based
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups small baby potatoes quartered
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 small zucchini sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large pieces of aluminum foil

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Foil Packets: Lay out 4 large foil sheets. Divide potatoes and vegetables among them. Drizzle with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  • Add Burgers: Place a burger patty on top of the vegetables in each foil sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add Cheese: Top each burger with a slice of cheddar cheese.
  • Seal Foil: Fold foil over each packet and seal tightly.
  • Cook: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, or grill over medium heat for the same time, until burgers are cooked through and potatoes are tender.
  • Serve: Carefully open packets and serve directly or transfer to plates.
