CAJUN SHRIMP AND SAUSAGE ALFREDO PASTA

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • ½ lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • ½ lb smoked sausage sliced
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook Pasta:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Cook Sausage & Shrimp:

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook until browned. Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning. Cook 2–3 minutes, until shrimp is pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Make Alfredo Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine:

  • Add cooked pasta, sausage, and shrimp to the sauce. Toss well to coat everything in the Alfredo sauce.

Serve:

  • Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.
