Buffalo Chicken Sloppy Joes are a spicy, saucy twist on the classic sandwich. Made with ground chicken and tangy buffalo sauce, they’re quick, flavourful, and perfect for weeknight dinners or game-day eats.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • ½ cup finely diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • cup buffalo wing sauce
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: shredded lettuce blue cheese crumbles, ranch or blue cheese dressing

Instructions
 

Sauté Aromatics:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft, about 3–4 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute more.

Cook Chicken:

  • Add ground chicken and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully cooked through and no longer pink.

Add Sauces:

  • Stir in buffalo sauce, tomato sauce, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Assemble Sandwiches:

  • Spoon the mixture onto toasted buns. Add desired toppings and serve immediately.

  • Mild Version: Use mild buffalo sauce or reduce the amount for less heat.
