Ingredients

For the Vanilla Layer:

  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Chocolate Layer:

  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Prepare the Baking Dish:

  • Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Make the Vanilla Layer:

  • In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk and 1 cup of white chocolate chips. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the chocolate chips are melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Pour the vanilla layer into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.

Make the Chocolate Layer:

  • In the same saucepan, combine the remaining 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

Layer the Chocolate:

  • Pour the chocolate layer over the set vanilla layer in the baking dish. Use a spatula to spread evenly and tap the dish on the counter to smooth the top.

Chill and Set:

  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is firm and set. Once firm, cut into squares.
