This classic bologna salad is a nostalgic, creamy, and flavourful spread made with finely chopped bologna, pickles, and mayonnaise. Perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or lettuce wraps, it’s a simple make-ahead recipe loved for picnics and potlucks.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound bologna chopped or ground
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet pickle relish or chopped sweet pickles
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs chopped, optional

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, finely chop the bologna until it resembles a spread.
  • Transfer to a mixing bowl. Stir in mayonnaise, relish, and mustard.
  • Add chopped eggs if using, and mix well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  • Serve on sandwiches, crackers, or lettuce wraps.

  • Make Ahead: Best made ahead and chilled for 1–2 hours to enhance flavour. Can be stored in the fridge for 3–4 days.
