Ingredients
  

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder boneless, trimmed of excess fat
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and black pepper

Instructions
 

Season Pork:

  • Place pork shoulder in the slow cooker. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and brown sugar.

Add Sauce:

  • Pour barbecue sauce and chicken broth over the pork.

Cook in Slow Cooker:

  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork.

Shred and Mix:

  • Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return to sauce and mix well.

Serve:

  • Serve hot on buns, tacos, or as desired.
