Ingredients
  

For the Quesadillas:

  • 2 cups cooked ground beef seasoned with taco spices
  • 4 flour tortillas 8-inch
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil for cooking
  • to taste optional toppings (sour cream, salsa, guacamole)

Instructions
 

Prepare Tortilla:

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly butter one side of a tortilla.

Assemble Quesadilla:

  • Place tortilla in skillet, butter side down. Sprinkle cheese evenly, add cooked beef, then more cheese if desired.

Cook Quesadilla:

  • Top with second tortilla and cook until bottom is golden. Flip carefully and cook other side until golden and cheese is melted.

Serve:

  • Remove from skillet, slice into wedges, and serve with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.
