1 cup beef drippings or beef broth if drippings aren’t available 1 cup low-sodium beef broth 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 2 teaspoons soy sauce optional, for umami 1 teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon onion powder Salt and pepper to taste 1 teaspoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water optional, for slight thickening
