These BBQ Chicken Meatballs are juicy, flavorful, and coated in a tangy barbecue glaze. They’re easy to make and perfect for parties, weeknight dinners, or summer cookouts as a delicious appetiser or main dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce plus more for serving
  • Chopped parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Make Meatball Mixture:

  • In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.

Form Meatballs:

  • Scoop and roll mixture into 1-inch balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake:

  • Bake for 15 minutes, then brush with barbecue sauce and return to oven for another 5 minutes.

Serve:

  • Drizzle with extra barbecue sauce and garnish with chopped herbs if desired. Serve warm.
