For the Donuts: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon baking soda ¼ teaspoon salt ½ cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs ¾ cup buttermilk ¼ cup unsalted butter melted 2 teaspoons vanilla extract For the Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar 2 –3 tablespoons milk ½ teaspoon vanilla extract Sprinkles optional

Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan lightly with non-stick spray.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
Combine: Add wet ingredients into dry, stirring until just combined (do not overmix).
Fill Pan: Spoon or pipe batter into donut pan, filling each mold about ¾ full.
Bake: Bake 10–12 minutes until donuts are lightly golden and spring back when touched. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.
Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Dip cooled donuts into glaze and top with sprinkles if desired.
Flavour Twist: Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the batter for extra warmth.
Chocolate Option: Swap vanilla glaze with melted chocolate for a rich topping.
