Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices bread white or whole wheat
  • 8 slices cooked bacon
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Optional: ketchup mustard, pickles

Instructions
 

Cook Beef:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper, until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.

Assemble Sandwich:

  • Butter one side of each bread slice. On the unbuttered side, layer cooked beef, bacon, cheese, and optional condiments. Top with another bread slice, buttered side out.
  • Cook Sandwich:
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook sandwiches 3–4 minutes per side until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.

Serve:

  • Cut sandwiches in half and serve warm.
