Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
Cream Butter & Sugars: In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla, and apple butter, mixing until smooth.
Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
