Ingredients

  • 1 cup small mozzarella balls
  • 1 cup green olives
  • 1 cup black olives
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes
  • 10 –12 slices salami folded
  • 10 –12 slices prosciutto or ham
  • 1 cup cubed cheddar or gouda cheese
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for the wreath base
  • Fresh thyme or sage optional, for garnish
  • Toothpicks for skewering

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Rinse and pat dry all fresh produce and herbs. Cube cheeses and fold meats into quarters or rolls.

Arrange the Wreath Base:

  • On a large round platter, create a circular base using rosemary sprigs, overlapping them to mimic a real wreath.

Add Skewered Items:

  • Skewer mozzarella balls, olives, and tomatoes onto toothpicks. Add folded meats and cheese cubes as well.

Build the Wreath:

  • Place skewered items in a circular pattern over the rosemary base, alternating colors and textures for a balanced look.

Garnish:

  • Add a few sprigs of thyme or sage for extra greenery. Tuck in extra olives or tomatoes to fill gaps.

Serve:

  • Place a small bowl of dipping sauce or mustard in the center, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make-Ahead Tip: Prep ingredients and store separately, then assemble just before serving.
  • Customise It: Use mini pickles, roasted red peppers, or marinated artichokes for extra flavor.
  • Kid-Friendly: Use mild meats and cheeses, and skip spicy items.
  • Presentation Tip: Use a cake stand for added height and elegance.
