These Air Fryer Honey Garlic Chicken Wings are ultra crispy, sticky, sweet, and savory. Coated in a rich honey garlic glaze, they make the perfect appetizer or game day snack without deep frying.

Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings split and patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder for extra crispiness
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch slurry cornstarch + water (optional for thickening)

Instructions
 

Prep Wings:

  • Pat chicken wings dry and place in a large bowl. Toss with baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Air Fry:

  • Preheat air fryer to 380°F (190°C). Arrange wings in a single layer and cook for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through until crispy and golden.

Make Sauce:

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, butter, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Thicken (Optional):

  • Add cornstarch slurry if you want a thicker sticky glaze. Stir until glossy.

Coat Wings:

  • Toss crispy wings in the warm honey garlic sauce until fully coated.

Serve:

  • Serve immediately garnished with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • Best served fresh and hot for maximum crispiness.
